This is the 42nd year of consecutive operation of Little League Baseball for our organization. It all began in 1966 with the Windsor Nationals Little League, based in South Windsor. In 1967, due to its large size, the League was divided into two new leagues, the Windsor Nationals and the Windsor Americans. The first year with our current name was in 1969, when the two leagues were renamed Windsor South Little League and Windsor South Canadian Little League. These leagues are part of Ontario District 5 Little League, Little League Canada – a part of Little League International, headquarters in Williamsport, PA; which has grown to represent 95 countries and over 2 million players worldwide since its inception in 1938.
